Peddars Way & The Norfolk Coast Path
The Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path is one of the 4 modern trails that follow the old Iceni trail the starts in Lyme Regis and ends at Holme-next-the-Sea. The other three are The Ridgeway, The Icknield Way and The Wessex Ridgeway.
Peddars Way starts near Thetford and heads direct north for 46.5 miles to the Wash. The Norfolk Coast Path, takes the baton and heads east for another 44 miles following the East Anglian coast to Cromer. Mum and I did this over summer 2003, being joined by Jen for our final stage which took in the beautiful Holkham beach (of "Shakepeare In Love" fame).
