There are 284 peaks in Scotland that are over the 3000 ft that qualifies them to be counted as a Munro.
These peaks are named after Sir Hugh Munro of Lindertis in Angus, who published a list of his Tables of Heights over 3000 ft in the Scottish Mountaineering Club Journal in 1891.
So far I've done 4 - so I've got a fair way to go :o) Living in London doesn't help, but having another 40 odd years to get the rest of them bagged does!
